We are a family friendly club where the emphasis is on relaxation and having fun and where owning a boat is not essential. The Lake District Boat Club organizes an annual programme of yacht and day-boat racing during the season and boasts an enviable full social calendar – The club premises are situated centrally on the shore of Windermere, the largest area of fresh water in the Lake District National Park. This is truly a stunningly beautiful setting with views from the club of the lake and surrounding fells.
